Clause

In a dialogue both sides speak and listen in turn. When person A speaks, person B listens. Person A gives information to person B. Person B combines the information received from person A with the information that person B already has, revealing the product to person A. In this way the dialogue is fed constantly, and both speakers get somewhere, where they would not get without each other.

When you buy “Clause", you are buying a small (digital) text, a legal clause. You attach this clause to your (electronic) letter paper on which you conduct correspondence with third parties. The text states that all that is entrusted to this paper must be regarded invalid. This gives each party the opportunity to develop its correspondence rather freely, since either side may make promises without any fear of consequences.

The information that person A now transfers to person B is in all respects free of consequences. This enables person A to be creative with the information which he or she transfers. Person A now transfers "enriched" information to person B. Person B is aware of this. He or she combines "enriched" information received from person A with his or her own "enriched" information, and transfers the result to person A.

This unconditional method of communication means that neither person will be inhibited by his or her shortcomings, shortcomings of others, by capitalism, by nature or by anything else for that matter. Because of this they are now free to gain fresh insights with astonishing rapidity.

When the both parties are satisfied, they can decide together to send a definite version of the letter in which the clause is omitted.

Clausule

In een dialoog wordt over en weer gesproken en geluisterd. Wanneer persoon A spreekt, luistert persoon B. Persoon A draagt informatie over aan persoon B. Persoon B combineert de ontvangen informatie van persoon A met de informatie die persoon B zelf al had, en spreekt het resultaat uit naar persoon A. Hierdoor wordt de dialoog telkens gevoed, en komen beide gesprekspartners tot iets, waar ze zonder elkaar niet toe gekomen zouden zijn.

Als je “Clausule” koopt, koop je een (digitaal) stukje tekst, een juridische clausule. Deze clausule bevestig je aan je (elektronisch) briefpapier waarop correspondentie met derden plaatsvindt. In het stukje tekst staat, dat alles wat op dit papier gecorrespondeerd wordt als ongeldig gezien moet worden. Dit geeft beide partijen de kans om hetgeen gecorrespondeerd wordt vrij te ontwikkelen, over en weer kunnen beloftes worden gedaan, zonder dat hieraan consequenties verbonden zijn.

De informatie die persoon A nu overdraagt aan persoon B heeft op geen enkele manier meer consequenties. Dit stelt Persoon A in staat creatief te zijn met de informatie die hij overdraagt. Persoon A draagt nu “verrijkte” informatie over aan persoon B. Persoon B is zich hiervan bewust. Hij of zij combineert de ontvangen “verrijkte” informatie van persoon A met zijn of haar eigen “verrijkte” informatie, en spreekt het resultaat uit naar persoon A.

Door deze onvoorwaardelijke manier van communiceren zullen beide personen niet belemmerd worden door hun eigen tekortkomingen, die van anderen, van het kapitalisme, van de natuur of van wat dan ook. Ze zijn nu vrij om met een enorme snelheid tot nieuwe inzichten te komen.

Wanneer het gewenste doel is bereikt kunnen de partijen samen beslissen om een definitieve brief te verzenden waarbij de clausule wordt weggelaten.
